Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering

From the fall of 2019 to the spring of 2021, I worked to complete my master’s degree at Boston University. I studied under Dr. Sheila Russo in the Material Robotics Lab where I focused my efforts in soft robotic neurosurgical devices. Despite the many logistical and practical challenges of the COVID pandemic, I had the opportunity to work with clinical collaborators at Boston Medical Center to design a novel soft-robotic surgical retractor.
