Tomas is a self-employed design consultant specializing in product design and research. He earned his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, where he focused on soft-robotic medical devices and published research on novel origami-based actuators for neurosurgery in collaboration with clinical partners at Boston Medical Center. Tomas has a diverse background in industry, with previous roles at Boyd Corp. and Molex. 

In his free time, Tomas enjoys hiking, running, and playing the harp.
