The Surgical Education Lerners Forum (SELF) is a community of practice centered on the development of self-training modules for surgical education. SELF is a program of the Intuitive Foundation and led by expert educators, clinicians, doctors, and engineers all dedicated to the same mission of increasing access to quality surgical care for people low and middle income (LMIC) regions. In my role as Program Fellow, I facilitated working group participation centered around the creation of engineering tools for SELF Module development. I worked to gather data, report on findings, and lead discussions among symposium participants.
